Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with three years of related experience or equivalent.
• Must complete Act 120 training and maintain it.
• Maintain Act 2 certification and annual in-service training.
• Must complete a police supervisor training course.
• Associates degree preferred; strong supervisory experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide leadership to deputies across multiple operational functions.
• Oversee daily assignments, scheduling, and deployment for staffing efficiency.
• Provide oversight of critical incidents and ensure proper response per policies.
• Conduct evaluations of security risks and procedures; recommend improvements.
• Assist in training and professional development for deputies in tactics and de-escalation.
• Review and approve reports, use of force incidents, and operational plans for compliance.
• Participate in internal investigations and disciplinary actions; manage personnel issues.
• Serve as Officer-in-Charge when required and lead incident command decisions.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
