In June of 2025, Broadcom announced the Tomahawk® 6 switch series of devices delivering a world’s first 102.4 Terabits/sec of switching capacity in a single chip – doubling the bandwidth of any Ethernet switch available on the market at the time. With unprecedented scale, energy efficiency, and AI‑optimized features, Tomahawk 6 was built to power the next generation of scale‑up and scale‑out AI networks, delivering unmatched flexibility with support for 100G/200G SerDes and co‑packaged optics (CPO). Broadcom's Core Switching Group (CSG) is looking for a SerDes Applications Engineer with focused expertise in serial IO technology who can help support some of its largest Tier 1 customers operating at the bleeding edge including 200Gbps per lane PAM4 Ethernet interfaces and 64 GT/s PCIe Gen6 interfaces.
The annual base salary range for this position is USD 121,900.00 to USD 195,000.00.
