Job summary

DFA Milk in Monroe, WI is seeking a capable production operator to perform multiple line duties, operate and monitor dairy processing equipment, and support sanitation and quality checks. This role requires experience in a dairy or consumer goods production environment and a commitment to GMP and safety standards.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, handling materials, completing quality records, and assisting with line changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years manufacturing/production experience, preferably in the dairy or consumer goods industry.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of line duties within the manufacturing environment to include processing, machine operator, and/or break relief operator jobs (e.g., Receiver, Palletizer, Blend/Filler/CIP/Mix/Packaging/Loader operators).
• Clean, set-up, operate, and monitor equipment on the production line
• Ensure that the proper materials are used for each product being produced
• Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks
• Review charts, screens, quality check sheets, and specifications that are in both hard copy and electronic format
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment; complete cleaning checklist once line has completed run
• Prepare equipment for next run to include size changes as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties
• Maintain communication with other departments, supervisor, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information. Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
• Review process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of manufacturing/production experience, preferably in the dairy or consumer goods industry
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment

Pay Range

$19.00-$23.00/Hr.
