Job summary

U.S. Security Care seeks a mature, professional armed security agent to protect students and staff in a high school setting in Norristown, PA.

The position is part-time with weekday morning shifts (7:00 am to 3:00 pm), offering pay rates between $27 and $30 per hour. LEO/military/corrections backgrounds are preferred, with required certifications and background checks on file.

Qualifications

• PA Lethal Weapons Training Act Certification (Act 235) required.
• Minimum 3–5 years for Level II / 5–7 years for Level III armed security experience.
• Retired law enforcement, military, or corrections preferred.
• Weapons qualification.
• Concealed Carry Permit required.
• ACT 67 certification provided by us.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
• Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of PA laws and district policies.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Job description

U.S. Security Care is currently seeking a Mature, Professional Armed Security Agent to work in a High School environment. Seeking: Retired LEO, Corrections or Military, Level II or III Armed Agent

Pay Rate:$27. - 30.00hr

Shifts Available: Part time Monday-Friday: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (3-5 days per week)

Position is located in Norristown, PA. Patrols school facilities and grounds to prevent disruptive or illegal actions, access to restricted areas, theft or vandalism on an assigned or rotating shift. Performs a variety of assignments which can require being in a fixed location or a mobile unit or being exposed to uncontrolled and/or unpredictable conditions.

Required Qualifications/Certifications

• - PA Lethal Weapons Training Act Certification (Act 235);
• -MUST HAVEa minimum of 3-5 years for Level II / 5-7 years for Level III of Armed security experience;
• - RetiredLaw enforcement,Military, or Corrections Preferred
• - Weapons Qualification;
• - Must have valid Conceal Carry Permit
• - Will need to get ACT 67 certification (provided by us)
• - Must pass pre-employment drug testing and background proceedings;
• - Must have or be able to obtain a Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151);
• - Must have a high school diploma or GED;
• - Knowledge of PA Laws & district policies;
• -Must drive and have reliable transportation
• - Excellent organizational skills and abilities;
• - Current Act 34 and FBI Clearances as required by the laws of Pennsylvania, andany other clearances that may be required by law.
