Qualifications

• Valid license to operate a motor vehicle.
• PA Lethal Weapons Training Act Certification (Act 235).
• Minimum 3–5 years of armed security experience.
• Retired law enforcement, military, or corrections preferred.
• ACT 67 Training required, will train if needed.
• Weapons qualification.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
• Must have or obtain Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of PA laws and district policies.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Current Act 34 and FBI clearances as required by PA law.

Pay Rate

$27. - 30.00hr

Shifts Available

• Part time
• Monday-Friday: 7:30am - 5:30pm
• Saturday's 8:00am - 1:00pm

Job Description

• Position is located in The Merion Station/Narbarth, PA. Area
• Patrols school facilities and grounds to prevent disruptive or illegal actions, access to restricted areas, theft or vandalism on an assigned or rotating shift.
• Performs a variety of assignments which can require being in a fixed location or a mobile unit or being exposed to uncontrolled and/or unpredictable conditions.
• Performs their duties in uniform or in plainclothes depending on the type of assignment.

Required Qualifications/Certifications

• Valid license to operate a motor vehicle at the time of the appointment and during the tenure of employment;
• PA Lethal Weapons Training Act Certification (Act 235);
• MUST HAVEa minimum of 3-5 years of Armed security experience;
• RetiredLaw enforcement,Military, or Corrections Preferred
• ACT 67 Training required, will train if needed
• Weapons Qualification;
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing and background proceedings;
• Must have or be able to obtain a Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151);

• Excellent organizational skills and abilities;
