Job summary

U.S. Security Care, Inc. seeks an Armed School Security Officer in the Merion Station/Narberth area. The role involves patrolling school facilities, preventing disruptions, and restricting access to sensitive areas on a part-time schedule.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of armed security experience, a PA driver’s license, and ACT 235/67 training, with the ability to work in uniform or plainclothes as required. Strong knowledge of PA laws is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid license to operate a motor vehicle.
• PA Lethal Weapons Training Act Certification (Act 235).
• Minimum 3–5 years of armed security experience.
• Retired law enforcement, military, or corrections preferred.
• ACT 67 Training required, will train if needed.
• Weapons qualification.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
• Must have or obtain Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of PA laws and district policies.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Current Act 34 and FBI clearances as required by PA law.

Responsibilities

• Patrols school facilities and grounds to prevent disruptions, access to restricted areas, theft or vandalism on an assigned or rotating shift.
• Performs duties in uniform or in plainclothes depending on the assignment.
• Operates in fixed locations or mobile units under various conditions.
• Location is Merion Station/Narberth, PA area.
