About The Role
The role owns search visibility end-to-end: driving organic traffic through technical SEO, content optimization, and link strategy, while managing paid search programs that efficiently convert spend into qualified traffic and leads. This seat matters because search is a primary acquisition channel. The specialist will work across B2B and B2C properties, translating keyword research, SERP data, and PPC performance into measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the SEO roadmap: technical audits, on-page optimization, site architecture recommendations, and crawl/indexation health using tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, and GSC
- Build and manage SEM campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including keyword strategy, bidding, ad copy testing, and budget pacing
- Conduct keyword and competitive research to guide content strategy; partner with content and design teams on briefs and optimization recommendations
- Run structured experiments on landing pages, ad copy, and page elements to improve CTR, Quality Score, and conversion rates
- Track and report on rankings, organic traffic, paid CPA/ROAS, and pipeline contribution; build dashboards in GA4, Looker Studio, or similar
- Manage relationships with agencies, tooling vendors, and dev teams to prioritize and ship technical SEO fixes
- Monitor algorithm updates and industry changes; adjust strategy proactively and communicate impact to leadership
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of hands-on SEO and SEM experience in B2B or B2C tech environments
- Deep proficiency with Google Ads, Google Search Console, GA4, and at least one major SEO platform (Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz)
- Working knowledge of technical SEO: site speed, structured data, canonicalization, Core Web Vitals, and log-file analysis
- Demonstrated success improving organic traffic and managing six-figure paid search budgets efficiently
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable with Excel/Sheets, UTM tracking, attribution models, and presenting performance data to stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: Experience with HTML/CSS basics, programmatic SEO, SQL, or paid social (LinkedIn/Meta) campaigns
