Tombras is seeking an SEO Manager to lead optimization for national and international brands from Atlanta, GA or Knoxville, TN. You will own client-facing duties, drive proactive opportunities, and manage enterprise SEO platforms to improve rankings and analytics.

The role requires strong analytical skills, deep hyperlocal SEO experience, and the ability to mentor a team while collaborating with senior leaders to develop initiatives and train staff.

Qualifications

• Architect comprehensive SEO strategies for national and international brands.
• Excellent client communication and strong analytical capabilities.
• Deep experience in hyperlocal SEO, including listing management across directories.
• Experience with enterprise SEO software for ratings and reviews.
• Run audits to improve location consistency and remove duplicates.
• Manage enterprise SEO software with multi-engine/hyperlocal tracking.
• Provide monthly/weekly insights on SEO performance.
• Technical SEO proficiency: hreflang, canonical URLs, sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, schema.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop initiatives and train the team.
• Oversee workloads across analysts and strategists.
• Present plans and performance clearly to clients.
• Drive keyword opportunities from ideation to execution.
• Monitor global and hyperlocal SEO health.
• Lead link-building and outreach efforts across verticals.
• Coordinate with developers to implement recommendations.
• Stay current on SEO trends and best practices.
• Perform competitive SWOT analyses.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of client-facing duties such as status updates and reporting calls.
• Bring proactive SEO opportunities to clients and Directors using the SEO toolkit.
• Utilize SEO platforms like Google Analytics, Search Console, ScreamingFrog, Data Studio, SEMrush, and Brightedge.
• Maintain primary client and account team relationships with professional email and call etiquette.
• Mentor direct reports and shared team members to share knowledge.
