Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field as listed.
• Minimum 5 years of technical SEO experience for enterprise sites.
• Active Secret clearance or higher for federal contracts.
• Experience with technical audits using major SEO tools.
• Experience improving page speed and implementing schema markup.
• Experience with email/newsletter platforms and content discovery.
• Familiarity with AI/GENERATIVE search behavior & content optimization.
• Proficiency in structured content and FAQs for conversational interfaces.
• Knowledge of SEM concepts and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to document, train, and lead internal stakeholders.
• Strong diagnostics, indexing, and performance tuning knowledge.
• Proficiency with multiple SEO tools and web technologies.
• Attention to detail in site diagnostics and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple SEO initiatives and deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset across content, UX, and PMO teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly technical SEO audits across client properties.
• Optimize content for generative AI answer engines and traditional search.
• Coordinate SEO strategy with content, UX, and paid media teams.
• Oversee on-site search monitoring and quarterly content reviews.
• Lead page speed optimization and Core Web Vitals improvements.
• Maintain XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and crawlability settings.
• Implement schema markup and structured metadata for visibility.
• Improve internal linking and taxonomy alignment.
• Support voice-search readiness through improved content architecture.
• Validate indexing, crawl logs, and search behavior for visibility.
• Collaborate with developers and UX to embed SEO requirements.
• Create SEO training materials and workshops for staff.
• Track technical SEO KPIs and provide actionable leadership insights.
• Monitor algorithm updates and impact on client properties.
• Ensure compliance with federal, DoD, and accessibility standards.
