The SEO strategy at Smartlead aims to increase organic visibility, drive high-quality traffic, and convert visitors into loyal users. Our mission is to enhance search engine rankings while aligning with our brand’s content goals.
Boost Search Rankings: Implement strategies to improve Smartlead’s SERP position for competitive and non-branded keywords.
Increase Organic Traffic: Drive traffic through optimized on-page, off-page, and technical SEO efforts.
Optimize Conversion Rates: Ensure search traffic leads to meaningful conversions by aligning with user intent and business objectives.
Establish Authority: Build Smartlead’s online authority through strategic content and backlink strategies.
️ What You’ll Do- Role and Responsibilities:
As an SEO Expert, your primary mission is to craft and execute strategies that maximize organic search performance and align with Smartlead’s growth goals. We’re looking for an analytical, detail-oriented, and adaptable SEO specialist who thrives in a dynamic startup environment.
Keyword Strategy: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and craft effective strategies for content and campaigns.
Content Optimization: Collaborate with the content team to ensure all materials are SEO-friendly, using the latest tools and trends to guide improvements.
On-Page SEO: Optimize meta tags, headers, internal linking, image alt texts, and other elements to improve rankings and user experience.
Off-Page SEO: Develop link-building strategies, engage with high-authority websites, and ensure Smartlead has a strong backlink profile.
Technical SEO: Conduct regular audits, address crawl issues, enhance website speed, implement schema markup, and ensure a mobile-friendly experience.
Performance Analysis: Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Ahrefs to monitor performance, track KPIs, and make data-driven decisions.
Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with algorithm changes, industry best practices, and competitive strategies to maintain a leading edge.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to implement cohesive SEO strategies.
Reporting & Insights: Generate regular reports on traffic, rankings, and ROI, presenting actionable insights to the leadership team.

Traffic Growth: Increase in organic website traffic, primarily from the non-branded search terms.
Keyword Rankings: Improvement in SERP positions for target keywords.
Conversion Rates: Increase in purchases and sign-ups from organic sources.
Bounce Rate: Reduction in bounce rate and improvement in time spent on site.
Domain Authority: Enhanced authority through effective link-building strategies.
Technical Health: Maintenance of optimal technical SEO health as measured by audit scores.
You’ll Excel If You Have- Skills:
Experience & Expertise: 2-4 years of experience in SEO, preferably within SaaS or technology-focused industries.
Technical Knowledge: Proficient in tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Clarity, and Screaming Frog.
Content Understanding: Ability to collaborate with content teams to produce SEO-optimized materials.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to improve performance.
Communication: Clear articulation of SEO strategies, reports, and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Adaptability & Growth Mindset: Open to feedback and committed to staying ahead of the SEO curve.
Experience in CRO: Understanding of how SEO aligns with conversion rate optimization.
Localization Expertise: Familiarity with international SEO strategies for expanding Smartlead’s global reach.
