VisitorsCoverage Inc. is hiring a full-time SEO Manager (Content) in Santa Clara, CA. You will own the organic search strategy, perform keyword research, and drive content creation for consumer-focused materials.

The role blends hands-on SEO with editorial leadership and requires strong experience in WordPress and analytics. You’ll collaborate with Marketing to optimize content, stay ahead of SEO trends, and manage a small content team or freelancers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience with content marketing.
• Fluent in SEO tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.
• Proven track record of driving organic traffic growth via keyword research and content strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• B2C content background; startup experience preferred.
• Experience in international or multilingual content is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the organic search strategy end-to-end with keyword research and rank tracking.
• Conduct keyword research with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Search Console to identify opportunities and build a content roadmap.
• Perform content audits, fix duplicates, broken links, and rendering issues.
• Grow VisitorsCoverage’s LLM citation footprint with earned mentions.
• Apply on-page SEO best practices across content: H1/H2, meta titles/descriptions, internal linking, FAQ, URLs.
• Stay current on SEO trends and AI tools to keep content competitive.
• Technical SEO: Schema, JSON-LD, XML sitemaps, site architectures.
• Provide monthly performance reports using GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs.
• Monitor rankings and impressions; propose optimization based on data.
• Write high-quality consumer-focused content across formats; maintain content calendar.
• Publish and QA in WordPress; oversee editorial process.
• Manage content briefs and oversee external writers; potential to lead a content specialist.
