Job summary

Pressed Floral is seeking an SEO specialist to grow qualified sessions and conversions through organic search. You will shape and execute strategy, optimize site structure, and surface content for traditional search engines and AI-powered experiences.

The role focuses on technical audits, schema implementation, keyword research, and content planning. Remote, part-time work with independent execution expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience growing organic search traffic with measurable results.
• Strong technical and on-page SEO knowledge.
• Experience implementing website structure, internal linking, schema, and other SEO improvements.
• Strong understanding of keyword research and search intent.
• Understanding of AI search optimization/GEO and how traditional SEO is evolving with generative search.
• Strong writing and content strategy skills.
• Ability to work independently, identify opportunities, and execute—not just provide recommendations.
• E-commerce, DTC, and/or local SEO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an organic SEO strategy focused on qualified traffic and business results.
• Conduct technical and on-page SEO audits and implement improvements to site structure, crawlability, indexation, internal linking, page optimization, and overall site health.
• Optimize website architecture and content organization so search engines and AI systems can better understand our products, services, locations, and expertise.
• Implement and maintain schema/structured data.
• Conduct keyword and search-intent research to identify high-value opportunities for growth.
• Optimize existing pages and identify opportunities for new landing pages and content.
• Develop an SEO-focused blog/content strategy and write or direct the creation of high-quality content.
• Optimize our website for AI search and generative search experiences, including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar platforms.
• Continuously analyze results, prioritize opportunities, and implement improvements.

You’ll support the strategy and execution behind that growth, improving how our website is structured, understood, and surfaced across both traditional search engines like Google and emerging AI-powered search experiences.
