Job summary

Pressed Floral is seeking a Utah-based SEO specialist to grow organic search traffic and conversions for our bespoke floral preservation business. This role supports strategy and execution, optimizing site structure, content, and AI-ready search experiences.

You’ll conduct audits, implement structured data, and develop a content plan to capture high-value opportunities across Google and AI-powered search experiences, with remote, part-time flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience growing organic search traffic with measurable results.
• Strong technical and on-page SEO knowledge.
• Experience implementing website structure, internal linking, schema, and other SEO improvements.
• Strong understanding of keyword research and search intent.
• Understanding of AI search optimization/GEO and generative search evolution.
• Strong writing and content strategy skills.
• Ability to work independently, identify opportunities, and execute—not just provide recommendations.
• E-commerce, DTC, and/or local SEO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an organic SEO strategy focused on qualified traffic and business results.
• Conduct technical and on-page SEO audits and improve site structure, crawlability, indexation, linking, and overall health.
• Optimize architecture and content so search engines and AI systems understand our products, services, locations, and expertise.
• Implement and maintain schema/structured data.
• Conduct keyword and search-intent research to identify high-value opportunities for growth.
• Optimize existing pages and identify opportunities for new landing pages and content.
• Develop an SEO-focused blog/content strategy and write or direct high-quality content.
• Optimize site for AI/generative search (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.).
• Continuously analyze results, prioritize opportunities, and implement improvements.

About the Role

Pressed Floral is looking for a Utah-based SEO specialist to increase qualified sessions and conversions through organic search.
You’ll support the strategy and execution behind that growth, improving how our website is structured, understood, and surfaced across both traditional search engines like Google and emerging AI-powered search experiences.
What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute an organic SEO strategy focused on qualified traffic and business results , not vanity metrics.
• Conduct technical and on-page SEO audits and implement improvements to site structure, crawlability, indexation, internal linking, page optimization, and overall site health.
• Optimize website architecture and content organization so search engines and AI systems can better understand our products, services, locations, and expertise.
• Implement and maintain schema/structured data
• Conduct keyword and search-intent research to identify high-value opportunities for growth.
