Job summary

Fox News Digital is looking for a full-time SEO/AEO Editor to join the team! You will play a key role in growing the visibility of FoxNews.com and FoxBusiness.com across traditional search and emerging AI-powered discovery platforms.

This role will optimize written and video content for search engines, answer engines and AI experiences while identifying new opportunities as audience discovery continues to evolve.

Qualifications

• SEO experience at a publisher or brand with interest in AI search.
• Strong on-page SEO and ability to independently identify optimization opportunities.
• Understanding of how content structure, entities, relevance influence visibility.
• Knowledge of technical SEO concepts and crawling/indexing basics.
• Familiarity with AI search concepts including AI Overviews and LLM citations.
• Experience tracking SEO KPIs and reporting performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Optimize published and unpublished content for SEO and AEO across traditional and AI platforms.
• Evaluate headlines, metadata, keywords, entities, and internal linking for optimization.
• Research how content surfaces across search engines, AI Overviews and LLMs.
• Conduct keyword, competitor and trend analyses to identify opportunities.
• Pitch SEO/AEO opportunities to editorial teams and monitor performance.
• Provide actionable recommendations to editors and newsroom discussions.
• Educate editorial teams on evolving SEO/AEO best practices through trainings.
