Fox News Media is seeking a full-time SEO/AEO Editor to join the team. You will optimize written and video content for search engines and AI experiences, helping FoxNews.com and FoxBusiness.com grow visibility across traditional search and emerging AI-powered discovery.

The role requires a solid SEO foundation, ability to evaluate headlines, metadata and keywords, conduct keyword and trend analysis, and partner with editorial teams to implement actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in SEO for a publisher or brand.
• Understanding of on-page SEO, content structure and entity relevance.
• Familiarity with AI search concepts and emerging AEO platforms.

Responsibilities

• Optimize written and video content for SEO and AEO across search and AI platforms
• Evaluate headlines, metadata, keywords and entities, internal linking, content structure, images and other on-page elements
• Research how content is surfaced across search engines, AI Overviews and LLMs
• Conduct keyword, competitor, search trend and AI visibility research
• Pitch SEO/AEO opportunities to editorial teams
• Monitor performance and recommend optimizations for coverage
• Collaborate with editorial teams to provide actionable SEO/AEO recommendations
• Educate newsroom on evolving SEO/AEO best practices
• Stay informed on changes across Google Search, News, Discover and AI citations
• Test emerging AEO strategies and measure impact
