Job summary

Sensient Colors is seeking a Sensory Manager to lead our sensory evaluation program for raw materials, in-process materials, Finished products, and customer samples. You will ensure objective, repeatable sensory assessments aligned with product specs and customer expectations.

You will guide the team, develop methodologies, and coordinate with Quality, Applications, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional groups to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Sensory Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in sensory science or relevant field.
• Experience designing and managing sensory programs and panels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sensory team and deliver superior sensory expertise.
• Define priorities and manage projects using ASTM protocols.
• Implement latest sensory methodologies with statistical analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence decisions.
• Present sensory results to internal and external stakeholders.
