Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant science.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably sensory science or related fields.
• Experience following protocols and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule sensory and consumer tests.
• Procure, track, ship, and organize samples for testing.
• Recruit, schedule, and manage sensory panelists.
• Program tests in Compusense and maintain project records.
• Prepare, label, and serve samples following laboratory procedures.
• Maintain laboratory inventory, supplies, and SOPs.
• Assist with data organization, basic analysis, and report preparation.
• Support sensory lab improvements and new testing methodologies.
• Receive and ship samples between locations.
• Perform routine lab cleaning and maintenance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Psychology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or a related scientific discipline
