Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated in Hunt Valley, MD is offering a 10-week R&D Intern Summer 2023 position at its Technical Innovation Center. The internship runs June–August 2023, requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a paid hourly rate.

As an intern you will assist with data collection, analysis, and sensor-driven insights, and you will design dashboards and conduct independent research projects under guidance from the Sensory Data Science team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior going in the 2023-2024 academic year.
• Pursuing a degree in Data Science.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection and processing using databases and dashboards.
• Conduct an independent research project with proposal, execution, and presentation.
• Collaborate with sensory scientists to understand data needs and develop databases and analysis tools.
• Present a summary of work and outcomes at internship conclusion.
