Job summary

Creare seeks a Sensors & Controls Technician to support instrumentation, embedded sensors, data acquisition, and prototype testing in our Hanover, NH facility. You will select, install, calibrate, and maintain sensors and DAQ hardware, assemble wiring harnesses, and help develop automated test sequences.

Applicants should have an Engineering Technology degree or equivalent experience and at least 2 years in sensors, wiring, electronics assembly, or control systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering Technology degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years with sensors, wiring, electronics assembly, or control systems.
• Familiarity with DAQ systems, signal conditioning, or PLC hardware is a plus.
• Ability to interpret schematics and create/modify CAD models.
• Strong organization, communication skills and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Select, install, calibrate, and maintain sensors, transducers, and DAQ hardware.
• Assemble and maintain wiring harnesses, control boxes, and instrumentation systems.
• Assist in developing control hardware setups and automated test sequences.
• Conduct experiments, verify sensor performance, and troubleshoot signal issues.

Creare seeks a Sensors & Controls Technician to support projects involving instrumentation, embedded sensors, controls hardware, data acquisition systems, and prototype testing.

Primary Responsibilities

• Select, install, calibrate, and maintain sensors, transducers, and data acquisition hardware.
• Assemble and maintain wiring harnesses, control boxes, electronics enclosures, and instrumentation systems.
• Assist in developing control hardware setups and automated test sequences.
• Conduct experiments, verify sensor performance, and troubleshoot signal issues.
• Record and organize measurement data; assist with analysis and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineers developing systems involving advanced sensing and controls.

Professional Requirements

• Engineering Technology degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with sensors, wiring, electronics assembly, or control systems strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with DAQ systems, signal conditioning, or PLC hardware is a plus.
• Ability to interpret schematics and create or modify CAD models.
• Strong organization, communication skills, and mechanical aptitude.
