Sensor Validation Engineer

Our products are geared towards a variety of markets including automotive, telecommunications, aerospace, and research for applications such as autonomous transportation, 5G delivery, and drones.

Description Summary
  • The Sensor Validation Engineer will have experience validating high bandwidth sensors using rigorous data collection and analysis methods. The engineer will work closely with the algorithm and software teams to design and execute tests for evaluating the radar sensors’ performance and reliability. Responsibilities include performing root cause data analysis and generating cohesive test reports and documentation. Data collection is conducted outside on vehicles. Key requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or physics
    • Experience in data analysis, including statistics
    • Experience using MATLAB, Python or similar for data analysis
    • Experience presenting complex topics to high‑level stakeholders
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Comfortable manipulating large, multi‑dimensional data sets
    • Understanding of point clouds and point cloud structure
    • Understanding of the physical processes in which radar operates (nice to have)
    • Hands‑on experience with radar, lidar, camera or IMU (nice to have)
    • High‑level technical writing skills
  • Automotive experience highly desired.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
