Job summary

Kforce Inc is seeking a highly skilled researcher to contribute to verification and validation of next‑gen sensor systems (lidar/camera/radar) for advanced platforms. You will work with systems, software, and hardware engineers to craft V&V methodologies and execute data-driven validation plans.

The role focuses on designing simulation tests, translating requirements into actionable data mining plans, and building automation tools to derive KPIs from sensor data.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s with 3+ years in sensor/perception systems development/testing.
• Familiarity with camera, lidar or radar.
• Experience with data mining (SQL, PySpark, Scala, or similar).
• Experience analyzing data with Python or Matlab/C++.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to V&V activities for next generation sensor platforms.
• Collaborate with systems, software and hardware engineers to improve V&V methods.
• Design and execute test plans in simulation environments.
• Translate bounding scenarios into data mining plans and validate datasets.
• Integrate software pipelines to generate system KPIs from sensor data.
• Write reusable test automation and analysis software (Python/C++).
