Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is hiring for a role to lead sensor validation and characterization across Automotive, Trucking, and Construction & Mining sectors.

The candidate will validate Lidar, Radar, Camera, and Ultrasonic sensors, and advance synthetic simulation fidelity through ML and physical models. You will collaborate with engineering teams to align physical sensor data with synthetic models to ensure high-accuracy perception for autonomous systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Robotics Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sensor validation or related roles.
• Experience with Python for data analysis and test automation.
• Experience with Lidar, Radar, Cameras or Ultrasonics in diverse environments.
• Experience in Linux CLI, Bash scripting, and managing software dependencies for autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead sensor validation and characterization for SDS products across Automotive, Trucking, and Construction & Mining.
• Execute validation protocols for Lidar, Radar, Camera, and Ultrasonic sensors across diverse environments.
• Improve fidelity of synthetic simulations by developing ML and physical models of sensing systems and environments.
• Conduct physical sensor performance validation for SDS stacks comparing hardware data to simulated models.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to bridge physical sensor data and synthetic model development for high-accuracy perception.
