Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. seeks a software engineer for the Falcon Sensor Security Platform in a hybrid role handled from San Jose, California.

You will work on core sensor detections and response capabilities and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the CrowdStrike platform. You will write in multiple languages, including an in-house asynchronous language, focusing on performance and correctness in a large distributed system spanning macOS, Linux and Windows.

Qualifications

• Candidate demonstrates ownership of work and delivery.
• Ability to read and write C++ and Python in a distributed system.
• Experience with large-scale sensor/security platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand, modify and own sensor detections and response capabilities.
• Collaborate with multiple CrowdStrike teams across time zones.
• Write unit, functional and integration tests for sensor features.
• Diagnose issues reported by customers or other engineers.
