Job summary

CrowdStrike is hiring for an engineer on the Sensor Security Platform (SSP) within the Falcon sensor ecosystem. You will take shared ownership of complex detections and response capabilities across macOS, Linux, and Windows, contributing to our AI-native platform that processes trillions of events daily.

This hybrid role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, writing code, tests, and maintaining a high-quality, scalable sensor framework that powers CrowdStrike’s zero-breach approach.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of C++ and ability to read/write complex code.
• Experience with Python for automation and tooling is a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux-based development environments and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Understand, modify and own complex sensor detections and response features.
• Communicate design constraints, guarantees and interface details to stakeholders.
• Write code in multiple languages, including in-house DSLs and system-level languages.
• Write unit, functional and integration tests to validate changes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues reported by customers or other teams.
