Job summary

Katalyst CRO is seeking an Electrical/Mechatronics Modeling Engineer to develop sensor/actuator models and drive virtualization across HIL/SiL environments. You will define interface standards, execute validation tests, and lead data collection to characterize device performance.

Preferred candidates have hands-on experience with Simulink, FMU/DOORs, and cross-domain collaboration across vehicle and propulsion domains.

Qualifications

• Read and understand electrical drawings and device diagnostics.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and ICD/CTS/CTR interfaces.
• Familiarity with DOORs to comprehend interface and device requirements.
• Knowledge of Simulink environments and FMU integration.
• Experience with model virtualization across VHiL/HiL/SiL/CoSim environments.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand electrical drawings and device diagnostics.
• Develop sensor/actuator plant model architecture in Simulink or similar tool.
• Set interface standards for VHiL/HiL/SiL/CoSim environments.
• Define and execute test cases based on customer feedback.
• Lead data acquisition for performance and diagnostic characterization.
• Manage change management of a model and related documentation.
