Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a HIL Modeling Engineer to develop, integrate, and maintain plant and system models for hardware-in-the-loop testing of automotive ECUs and vehicle systems.

You will work with MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE or NI platforms, CAN/CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet, and collaborate with controls, embedded software, and validation teams.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of automotive HIL/modeling experience.
• Experience with dSPACE, ControlDesk or AutomationDesk.
• Knowledge of CAN/CAN FD/LIN automotive protocols.
• Experience testing ECUs and validating vehicle-level systems.
• Python, CAPL or MATLAB scripting experience.
• Understanding of control systems and ECU architecture.
• SIL/MIL/HIL methodologies.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain plant, component, and system-level models for HIL simulation.
• Develop mathematical and physics-based models using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Integrate models into HIL platforms such as dSPACE or NI.
• Configure and troubleshoot HIL test environments.
• Support ECU integration, functional testing, and regression testing.
• Implement models for powertrain, chassis, body, thermal, ADAS, or other vehicle systems.
• Work with CAN, CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet communication.
• Analyze simulation and test results and troubleshoot model/ECU issues.
• Support model validation and correlation against real vehicle or test-bench data.
• Collaborate with controls, embedded software, systems, and validation teams.
• Develop documentation for models, configurations, and test environments.
