Sense is seeking a skilled engineer in Warren, MI to read electrical drawings, develop Simulink-based models for sensors and actuators, and define interface standards for virtual test environments. You will coordinate multiple groups to balance fidelity and virtualization needs while translating calibration differences into robust models.

Required: formal engineering degree with 2+ years in related work, strong Simulink experience, and familiarity with ICD/CTS/CTR interfaces.

• Read and understand electrical drawings, including circuit and control diagnostics.
• Develop sensor/actuator plant model architecture in Simulink.
• Define interface standards for VHiL/HiL/SiL/CoSim environments.
• Define and execute test cases from customer feedback and model development.
• Lead and execute device data acquisition for performance and diagnostics.
• Manage model change management (releases, tests, support).
• Define virtualization requirements for modeling, supplier, hardware and controls.
• Coordinate and balance virtual requirements across vehicle and propulsion domains.
• Translate Vehicle Calibration differences into robust model design.
