A growing financial services firm in Edison, NJ is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage month-end close processes and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of accounting experience and a strong understanding of financial statements. Qualifications

• 3+ years of general accounting experience.
• Construction, manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of general ledger and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Manage month end and quarter end close.
• Prepare financial statements and provide underlying analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and accounting standards.
• Oversee mid-year and year end audits and prepare various documents.
• Prepare forecast projections.
• Lead management reporting.
• Analyze costs and projections to fuel decision making.
• Manage GL balances and postings. Reconcile accounts to the GL.
• Conduct internal audits.
• Prepare reports analyzing fixed asset acquisitions and depreciation.
• Perform financial data analytics on current and prospective clients.
• Lead procedures to ensure proper data flow through the system.
