Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in New York seeks a ZOS Network Consultant to join a team supporting a large-scale z/OS platform. The role requires a systems programmer with 3+ years of z/OS networking experience and ET zone availability.

You will configure, maintain and secure host communication subsystems, and work rotating 24x7 coverage as part of a multi-functional team. Strong debugging and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a z/OS Systems Specialist in IT for 10+ years.
• Must work in Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Join a multi-functional team supporting IBM mainframe networks and transmissions products.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support.
• Perform TCPIP Port Reserves and VTAM updates.
• Manage OSA Adapters in a complex mainframe environment.
• Update VTAM PU/LU and Enterprise Extenders (EE).
• Configure AT-TLS rules and IPSEC policies.
• Trace, debug and perform error analysis.
• Communicate with technical, applications and operations staff regarding connectivity and security.
