Job summary

The City of Gresham is seeking a Senior Outreach Services Specialist to support youth facing housing instability, violence exposure, and barriers to essential services. You will build trusting relationships, assess needs, and connect families to housing, healthcare, and education resources.

This limited-term role focuses on proactive outreach, case management, advocacy, and collaboration with community partners to promote stability and well-being for youth and their families.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive outreach to at-risk and underserved youth in community settings.
• Build trusting relationships with youth and families to assess needs and develop service plans.
• Connect individuals to housing, education, healthcare, and behavioral health resources.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, community partners, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide case management, advocacy, and follow-up support.
• Develop outreach materials and maintain accurate documentation.
• Represent the program in community meetings and public engagements.
