Job summary

Intel Corporation in the United States is seeking a Staff Yield Engineer to drive yield analysis across the full supply chain, from design through High Volume Manufacturing. You will define yield goals, build predictive models, and work with foundry partners to optimize silicon performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with TD, IFS, and Product Integration, with a focus on inline metrics, defect density, and DOE-driven improvements in foundry customer silicon.

Qualifications

  • Requires degree in engineering/physical science with related experience.
  • Experience analyzing yield signals and root-causing improvements.
  • Experience with inline metrics, e-test data, and SORT data.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the yield point of contact through design to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
  • Define yield goals and roadmaps with IFS, TD, and Product Integration.
  • Collaborate with TD Process Integration, Device, and Lab to identify yield detractors.
  • Provide yield/defect density projections for customer silicon, test chips, and shuttles.
  • Track inline/process changes and update yield prediction models.
