Job summary

Intel is seeking a Staff Yield Engineer within the Logic Technology Development group to guide foundry customer silicon from testing to high-volume manufacturing. You will define yield goals, collaborate across TD, IFS, and Product Integration, and lead root-cause investigations to drive yield improvements.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and strong customer interaction across multiple sites in the US. Hybrid work model is available.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications include a specialized engineering degree with several years of relevant work experience.
  • Advanced degrees are preferred and count towards experience requirements.
  • Experience in semiconductor yield engineering and root-cause analysis is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Define yield goals and roadmaps for foundry customer silicon with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with TD Process Integration, Device, Defect Metro, and Lab to improve yield and address detractors.
  • Develop yield models to identify losses and support elimination of issues.
  • Lead investigations on yield signals and drive corrective actions with internal and customer teams.
  • Engage with Product Integration and Device teams during customer silicon execution.
