Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead strategic direction in foundry technology development, spanning device engineering, product integration, and yield analysis across the full product lifecycle.

You will serve as an executive technical liaison with customers, define roadmaps for yield and performance, drive NPI and PDK strategies, and guide cross-functional teams toward delivering multi-billion-dollar programs in the AI era.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD with extensive semiconductor yield/engineering experience.
  • Proven leadership of foundry customer programs and cross-functional teams.
  • Track record in defining yield/performance roadmaps and DOE planning.

Responsibilities

  • Establish yield strategy and governance for the foundry product lifecycle.
  • Define long-term roadmaps for yield and performance features in alignment with Intel groups.
  • Lead DOE design and skew split plans to optimize health and accelerate time-to-market.
  • Ensure compliance with fab process metrics, E-Test and related quality gates.
  • Act as executive liaison to customers and guiding cross-functional teams.
