Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Yield Analysis Engineer to own high‑volume product yield across tech nodes. You will monitor line health, trace yield deviations, and drive closure. Responsibilities include yield event closure, defense lines, and cross‑functional customer alignment.

The role requires 4+ years as a Device/Process Engineer with semiconductor knowledge, coding, and device physics. On-site, full-time employment with a comprehensive rewards package is offered.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience as a Device and/or Process Engineer required.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processes, coding, and device physics preferred.
• Industry experience with yield analysis and change-point investigations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive yield event closure and defense line effectiveness.
• Prepare and align customer yield material and messages with cross-functional teams.
• Review Daily wafer testing (EDS) maps and yield summaries; perform analytical deep dives.
• Conduct change point analyses for spec releases on EDS and FT yield.
