Job summary

Morgan Stanley's xVA Trading Desk is seeking an Associate or Vice President level Trader to price and manage credit and funding risks in OTC derivatives across Rates, FX, Credit, and Commodities. You will evaluate new transactions, price xVA, and hedge with desk colleagues to maintain risk limits.

The role requires a strong quantitative background, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and effective communication with sales and trading teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Math, Engineering or Science.
• Good understanding of Fixed Income Products (Rates, Bonds, FX, CDS...).
• Able to perform in a high paced environment, make fast decisions and prioritize as required.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and price credit and funding as well as collateral optionality.
• Risk-manage the trading book and hedge positions.
• Execute transactions for hedging xVA risks and communicate with sales/trading desks.
