Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent
  • Master's degree in related field or equivalent
  • 9+ years in banking/financial services or related field
  • Experience in XVA, derivatives trading, structuring, counterparty credit risk, market risk or related function
  • Strong understanding of cross-asset derivatives pricing and risk including funding, margin and collateral
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal/external stakeholders
  • Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced trading environment
  • Analytical, quantitative, organizational and project management skills
  • Experience with Murex, Sigma/Windfall, Bloomberg and advanced MS Excel

Responsibilities

  • Price and assess cross-asset derivative transactions with XVA components
  • Monitor, analyze, risk manage and hedge XVA exposures
  • Partner with Trading, Sales and Structuring to evaluate economics and support client activity
  • Collaborate with Market Risk, Credit Risk, Finance and control functions to ensure pricing aligns with risk limits
  • Partner with XVA Quants to support pricing methodologies and model enhancements
  • Contribute to the globalization of the XVA book by providing pricing and hedging during NY trading hours
  • Monitor and explain XVA risk and P&L drivers and identify optimization opportunities
  • Identify and implement process and system improvement opportunities
