Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer to execute within the XR/AR space for a high level enterprise portfolio in San Jose. You will drive system bring‑up, test plan development, and regression triage with firmware and platform teams while building tooling to capture telemetry and performance data.

Experience with wearables/AR and MCU power analyses is essential. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in embedded/consumer devices, hands-on hardware debugging (JTAG, oscilloscope), proficiency

Qualifications

• 8+ years in systems, platform, or integration engineering on embedded or consumer devices.
• Hands-on hardware debugging with JTAG, oscilloscope, and power measurement.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python.
• Strong regression triage and data analysis skills.
• Experience with wearables, XR/AR, or mobile devices.
• Power/performance characterization experience.
• Telemetry and dashboarding tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level bring-up, integration and debug across hardware and software components.
• Develop and maintain system test plans for glasses and accessory critical user journeys.
• Triage cross-component regressions and drive root cause with firmware, P&P and platform engineers.
• Instrument logging and support telemetry used for performance and regression analysis.
• Profile and analyze MCU and system behavior; support headroom and power analysis.
• Build tooling to automate measurement and regression detection.
