Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer to execute within the XR/AR space for a high level enterprise portfolio in San Jose, CA.

You will perform system bring-up and integration across hardware and software components, develop and maintain system test plans for glasses and accessories, triage cross‑component regressions, instrument logging for telemetry, profile MCU behavior, and build tooling to automate measurement and regression detection.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years in systems, platform, or integration engineering on embedded or consumer devices.
• Hands-on hardware debug — JTAG, oscilloscope, power measurement
• C/C++ and Python
• Strong regression triage and data analysis skills
• Wearables, XR/AR, or mobile device experience
• Power/performance characterization experience
• Telemetry and dashboarding tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level bring-up, integration and debug across hardware and software components.
• Develop and maintain system test plans for glasses and accessory critical user journeys.
• Triage cross-component regressions and drive root cause with firmware, P&P and platform engineers.
• Instrument logging and support telemetry used for performance and regression analysis.
• Profile and analyze MCU and system behavior; support headroom and power analysis.
• Build tooling to automate measurement and regression detection.
