Thundersoft is seeking software engineers with strong embedded software experience to support wearable AR/VR device development, bring‑up, production, and testing across MCU, IMU, camera sensors and Qualcomm SoCs.
You will work with RTOS like FreeRTOS/Zephyr, Pigweed, and Linux kernel, contribute to Android HAL/Services, and collaborate with partners to optimize power and performance. Onsite in San Jose is preferred, with flexibility for overseas support.
We are looking for software engineers with very strong embedded software experience and expertise. We would like them to support us with embedded software development, including drivers, RTOS (like Zephyr and FreeRTOS), Pigweed, connectivity stacks (USB, BLE, WiFi), and low-level IPs and protocols such as I2C, I3C, SPI, and MIPI (DSI/CSI). They should have experience with new hardware bring-up, knowledge of factory test software enablement and development, and debugging/troubleshooting using JTAG, Lauterbach Trace32, etc.
Ideally they can support having engineers onsite in San Jose, at least in some capacity; I’m okay with having more engineers overseas. I don't think an FAE would match the hands‑on expertise described above.
