American Family Care, Inc. is seeking a Radiology Supervisor to oversee x-ray staff and perform radiographic imaging procedures to aid physician diagnoses. The role emphasizes ALARA radiation protection and maintaining a safe imaging environment.

The position requires an associate degree or equivalent, ARRT registration or eligibility, and state licensure. Depending on location, additional certifications like MA, LPN, EMT, or Paramedic may be acceptable.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT-registered or board eligible preferred; state licensing required.
• Certification in Medical Assistant, Practical Nursing, EMT or Paramedic may be acceptable in some states.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, and train all x-ray staff.
• Greet patients and explain procedures compassionately.
• Position patients for diagnostic imaging.
• Practice ALARA radiation protection.
• Maintain clean work environment and stock supplies.
• Process images and prepare for physician readings.
• Operate digital and non-digital imaging equipment.
• Assist physicians with treatments when required.
• Perform routine maintenance and arrange repairs.
• Cross-train in related roles such as medical assisting or reception.
• Other duties as assigned.
