Job summary

UnitedHealthcare seeks a Senior Health Engagement Coordinator/Coach to plan, implement, coordinate and monitor worksite wellness programs for Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, TX.

You will conduct employee surveys, design customized health programs, deliver coaching, create communications, and measure outcomes. Travel up to 50% and occasional weekend/evening events are required. Strong data interpretation, reporting, and collaboration with vendors are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in worksite wellness/health promotion or related functions
• 2+ years of education and/or coaching with individuals for disease prevention or behavior change
• Experience with program evaluation (process and outcomes)
• Understanding of health promotion theories, practices, health risk and cost relationships, evaluation methods, policies and trends
• Proficiency in Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Assess employee wellness needs using data, screenings and feedback
• Deliver and coordinate wellness programs (assessments, screenings, disease management, health fairs, education)
• Provide one-on-one health coaching to help employees set goals and track progress
• Serve as primary point of contact for wellness participants with a customer-focused approach
• Coordinate wellness vendors and internal committees to support program delivery
• Develop and present health education materials and group presentations
• Monitor participation, maintain records and support reporting/improvement efforts
