Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Situational Advisor on the Google Concierge Team to deliver one-on-one financial guidance and point-in-time planning. Based in Malvern, you will help participants make informed retirement and investment decisions, providing personalized advice within a team-driven model.

You will build trusted relationships, support plan sponsor objectives, and collaborate across teams to ensure an exceptional participant experience.

Qualifications

• CFP designation is required.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required or ability to obtain within established timelines after hire.
• Minimum three years of experience providing financial planning, retirement planning, investment guidance, or participant/client relationship management within the financial services industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts and build trust through consultative conversations.
• Strong financial planning and investment knowledge with the ability to apply advice to individual participant situations.
• Demonstrated adaptability and ability to operate successfully in an evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, point-in-time financial planning and investment guidance through virtual consultations.
• Evaluate participants' goals, financial situations, and retirement needs to provide appropriate recommendations.
• Conduct discovery conversations and build trusted relationships that support positive participant outcomes.
• Serve as a resource on workplace retirement plans, investments, and financial planning topics.
• Collaborate across teams to support participant needs and plan sponsor objectives.
• Participate in business initiatives and special projects.
