Your Role at impact.com

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Workplace Experience Manager to own the day‑to‑day operations and programming of our New York City office, a ~200-person space that serves as the cultural hub of our company. This is a high-impact role that blends hands‑on workplace operations with strategic planning, employee experience, hospitality, and event execution. You will set the standard for how our office runs, make it feel welcoming and well‑run for every employee and visitor, and help shape how the workplace evolves as the company grows.

You will work day‑to‑day as the owner of the NYC workplace experience, with a clear path to build out a team as the office grows. This is an in‑office role, Monday through Friday, with after‑hours availability for emergencies and events.

What You’ll Do

Workplace Operations and Facilities

  • Own day‑to‑day operations of the NYC office, ensuring a seamless, well‑maintained, and welcoming environment for approximately 200 employees and visitors.
  • Oversee mail and package services, office supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and conference room logistics.
  • Manage the daily lunch delivery program and catering partners, ensuring high-quality, reliable service.
  • Manage relationships with building management, landlords, and external vendors (cleaning, security, catering, maintenance, supplies), including contract negotiation and performance oversight.
  • Coordinate IT infrastructure projects with the technology team, including AV systems, conference room setups, and workspace technology.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for workplace functions, continuously improving service quality and efficiency.

Hospitality and Visitor Experience

  • Lead hospitality programs for employees and guests, from reception and visitor check-in to meeting‑room readiness and welcoming touchpoints across the office.
  • Make every employee and guest feel special, from the first hello at reception to the last coffee of the day.
  • Plan and manage visiting‑team programming, ensuring out‑of‑town colleagues and guests have a seamless and memorable experience.
  • Develop food and beverage programs (catering, snacks, coffee) that meet diverse dietary needs and create moments of community.

Strategy and Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace‑related inquiries and escalations, and act as a trusted advisor to leaders on workplace needs.
  • Partner with People/HR, IT, Finance, and executive leadership to align workplace strategy with business objectives.
  • Lead workplace planning and change management as the office grows, including space planning, workplace enhancements, and organizational changes.
  • Define and track workplace success measures, such as employee satisfaction, service levels, and cost per head, and use them to drive decisions.

Budget and Financial Management

  • Own and manage multiple budgets, including facilities operations, office supplies, food and beverage programs, events, and capital improvement projects.
  • Track budget vs. actuals monthly, making strategic trade‑offs to stay within budget while maintaining high experience standards.
  • Prepare quarterly budget reports and forecasts for senior leadership, identifying cost optimization opportunities without sacrificing quality.
  • Lead vendor procurement, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost‑effective sourcing across all workplace services.

Culture, Events, and Employee Experience

  • Design and deliver a workplace experience strategy that reinforces company culture and strengthens employee connection.
  • Plan and execute office events, including all‑hands meetings, team celebrations, holiday gatherings, volunteer activities, and visiting‑team programming.
  • Partner with People/HR on onboarding experiences so new hires feel welcomed from day one.
  • Champion wellness, sustainability, and DEI initiatives within the workplace environment.
  • Partner with Inclusion Networks and business stakeholders to deliver programs that support employee and business outcomes.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of experience managing an office, workplace operations, facilities, hospitality, or employee experience, ideally in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with 100+ employees.
  • A proactive, “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” mindset, with comfort handling hands‑on work and strategic planning in the same week.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple budgets (six‑figure+), including vendor negotiations, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, complex logistics, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of office and facilities operations, including health and safety compliance, space planning, and vendor management.
  • Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization.
  • A strategic mindset that connects day‑to‑day execution to long‑term workplace goals.
  • Proficiency with office and productivity tools (Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, project management platforms, ticketing systems).
  • Snack scouting is part of the job. You’re always on the hunt for the next great bag of chips, and you have no problem taste‑testing on behalf of 200 hungry colleagues.
  • Availability to respond after hours for emergencies and to support evening and weekend events as needed.
Salary Range

$100,000 – $120,000 per year, plus an additional 5% annual bonus contingent on Company performance, and eligible to receive a Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.

This is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting.
