Baskervill's Orlando office is hiring an Interior Designer/Architect to join the Workplace Studio. This senior role requires 10+ years in interior design or architecture, a degree in interior design or architecture, and proficiency with Revit and MS Office.

Licensure or active licensure pursuit is preferred, with travel occasional. You will lead and mentor project teams, review technical and code matters, collaborate with consultants, present concepts to clients, and ensure design quality from

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in interior design or architecture.
• 10+ years of interior design or architecture experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office required.
• Professional licensure or working towards licensure.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards.
• An exceptionally positive and collaborative attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading, managing and mentoring multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to occasionally travel.

Responsabilités

• Lead and collaborate with team members and manage all phases of design and production work for the Workplace team.
• Guide and mentor staff in the review of technical and code matters.
• Engage on diverse projects ranging from small to large.
• Work closely with the team and its consultants to develop cohesive design solutions.
• Participate in client presentations, design meetings, and project discussions, helping translate ideas into clear design direction.
• Perform quality control reviews of drawings, documentation, and project deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with design intent and project standards.
• Participate in site visits, construction administration and review of submittals and finish samples.
• Communicate effectively with fellow team members and consultants across offices.
• Maintain a strong understanding of workplace trends, materials, products, technology, and emerging design strategies.
• Creatively and eloquently present design concepts and ideas.
• Bring a hands-on, collaborative approach—working alongside the team rather than simply managing from the sidelines.
