Job summary

Texas State Technical College (TSTC) seeks a Senior Workforce Trainer to lead accelerated training programs across technical, manufacturing, healthcare, and high-demand sectors. You will mentor other trainers and support curriculum development with employers and workforce partners.

You will coordinate trainings on campus, ensure documentation and compliance, and stay ahead of industry trends to keep programs relevant and impactful.

Qualifications

• Five years of related experience relevant to the subject needs.
• Demonstrated expertise in relevant technical or occupational skill areas.
• Strong understanding of higher education and workforce development landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce training programs across technical, manufacturing, healthcare and other sectors.
• Mentor adjunct instructors and support curriculum development.
• Collaborate with employers, community partners, and workforce agencies to align training with industry needs.
• Develop and update curriculum for continuing education, apprenticeships and short-term programs.
• Coordinate training schedules, instructional materials and teaching assignments.
• Maintain accurate documentation including attendance, evaluations and reporting; ensure compliance.
