Job summary

Expedia Group in San Jose seeks a skilled workforce analytics specialist to analyze data, build dashboards, and inform strategic decisions. You will partner with cross-functional teams, translate insights into actions, and support portfolio and workforce optimization using SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and Jira.

The role emphasizes data modeling, AI/ML awareness, and delivering clear visuals for diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced travel tech environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative field.
Experience in workforce analytics, portfolio insights, BI, or strategic analytics.
Experience owning analysis and reporting across a defined workforce, portfolio, program, or business domain.

Responsibilities

Analyze workforce, portfolio, and operational data to produce actionable insights for strategic planning.
Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical models to improve visibility into trends, capacity, and performance.
Partner with stakeholders to define questions, translate findings into recommendations, and support execution.
Evaluate portfolio demand, resource allocation, risks, and outcomes to identify optimization opportunities.
Apply data modeling and structured problem-solving to improve insights’ accuracy and usability.
Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions and apply AI/ML concepts to real-world products.
