Position Summary
The Senior Workforce Enablement Data Analyst serves as a strategic business partner supporting the Vice President, Workforce Enablement by providing workforce planning, labor forecasting, operational analytics, business intelligence, and performance reporting across the field organization. This role partners with Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Sales, Technology, Safety, and field leadership to develop workforce strategies, labor models, and data-driven insights that improve workforce deployment, operational readiness, labor utilization, service execution, and overall business performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Workforce Planning & Labor Strategy
- Develop workforce planning models, labor forecasts, staffing strategies, and capacity planning analyses that align workforce availability with operational demand.
- Analyze workforce utilization, labor costs, overtime, productivity, scheduling effectiveness, staffing levels, turnover, absenteeism, and workforce trends.
- Monitor workforce capacity and identify labor risks that may impact service delivery, operational performance, customer satisfaction, or financial performance.
- Develop workforce deployment recommendations that improve labor utilization while supporting operational execution.
- Partner with HR and Operations leadership to evaluate staffing requirements, hiring priorities, workforce readiness, and labor sustainability.
Operational Analytics & Performance Management
- Develop enterprise dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and workforce performance reporting that provide operational visibility across the organization.
- Analyze operational performance metrics including labor utilization, overtime, travel time, productivity, service levels, and workforce efficiency.
- Build executive reporting packages, presentations, and business reviews supporting executive leadership meetings.
- Translate complex operational and workforce data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
- Monitor performance trends and proactively identify operational risks, improvement opportunities, and emerging workforce challenges.
Systems, Technology & Business Intelligence
- Support implementation, optimization, and ongoing utilization of workforce management systems, scheduling platforms, reporting tools, and operational technologies.
- Partner with Technology teams to improve reporting capabilities, automation, data quality, and system functionality.
- Develop automated dashboards, workforce reporting, forecasting models, and analytical tools that improve decision-making.
- Ensure workforce and operational data integrity across enterprise systems.
Strategic Projects & Operational Support
- Support enterprise operational initiatives, strategic projects, and organizational transformation efforts led by the VP.
- Conduct workforce impact assessments, financial modeling, business case development, and analytical support for operational initiatives.
- Prepare executive presentations, strategic recommendations, and workforce planning documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities supporting enterprise workforce management initiatives.
Business Partnership
- Partner with Operations, Finance, HR, Technology, Sales, Safety, and field leadership teams to support workforce planning initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted analytical advisor to field leadership by providing workforce insights and operational recommendations.
- Support field leadership with labor planning, staffing analysis, workforce deployment recommendations, and operational reporting.
- Build strong partnerships that improve workforce planning processes and operational execution across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive experience in workforce planning, labor analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis, operations planning, business analytics, or a related analytical role.
- Experience supporting multi-site, field service, facilities services, logistics, retail, distribution, or operationally complex organizations preferred.
- Experience developing workforce forecasts, labor models, staffing plans, capacity analyses, and executive reporting.
- Experience working with workforce management systems, scheduling platforms, ERP/CRM systems, and business intelligence tools.
- Demonstrated experience translating operational and workforce data into actionable business recommendations.
- Experience supporting enterprise initiatives, workforce planning, or operational transformation projects preferred.
