Qualifications

• 5–8 years of underwriting experience required.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex insurance risks within assigned authority.
• Ensure submissions meet standards and are profitable.
• Curate portfolio per guidelines with discretion.
• Identify risk exposures and trends to maximize profitability.
• Support team goals and mentor others when needed.
• Execute on annual premium goals and quotes with target hit ratios.
• Build broker relationships and attend events as needed.
• Provide market intelligence to the group.
