Job summary

Universal Health Services in King of Prussia, PA is hiring a Workers' Compensation Claim Administrator. The role interfaces with claim adjusters, defense attorneys, HR staff, and Loss Control Managers to reduce exposure and costs. Hybrid schedule: three days onsite, two days remote.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years WC experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Office tools. You will help manage claims across jurisdictions and support strategic outcomes within UHS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3-5 years of workers' compensation experience.
• Working knowledge of workers' compensation in various jurisdictions, especially midwestern states and Texas preferred.
• Understanding of case reserving methodology.
• Excellent judgment to evaluate claim management activities and mitigate expenses.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Interface and strategize with claim adjusters, defense attorneys, HR Directors, and Loss Control Managers.
• Collaborate with WC team to reduce exposure and mitigate costs.
• Manage all assigned claims to closure and monitor nurse case management activity.
• Evaluate settlement proposals and coordinate return-to-work for disability claims.
• Oversee multi-jurisdiction claim handling and ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Assist manager on special projects as needed.
