Job summary

Elwood Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage multi-state Workers' Compensation claims. You will input high-volume injury data, track progress and keep files up to date, ensuring timely communication with carriers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and adherence to OSHA requirements while supporting the Risk Management director and operations across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework or certification in related field preferred.
• Previous Workers' Compensation claims or insurance adjusting experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume data entry of work-related injuries, incidents, and conservative treatment information into WC database.
• Coordinate flow of claims information to insurance carriers or TPAs; collaborate with adjusters and Director of Risk Management.
• Maintain claim files with doctor visits, medical notes, follow-ups and return-to-work details.
